With over 27 years in the oil and gas exploration industry I set up the business DXC Geological in July 2017 following a very successful 16 year career as a Wellsite Geologist at Barrel Consultants Limited. Prior to that I spent 6 years working as a Data Engineer and Mudlogger with Baker Hughes INTEQ in the UK North Sea and internationally in Holland and Namibia. I have extensive experience in the geological supervision of wells in the UK sector with numerous operators. I have expertise in geosteered horizontal, deviated and extended reach wells and their associated formation evaluation techniques; I have an MSc in Engineering Geology, a BSc in Earth Science and I am a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and a member of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain. I am a very capable administrator and have experience with a number of industry software packages including Geologix GEO, RockWare WellCAD, HRH Gravitas and Winlog.I am a British Citizen, married, in excellent health and hold a full UK driving licence.
