I am a highly versatile Automation and Controls engineer with experience from control system design, PLC programming, down to panel building and installation. I kicked off my electrical career as a commercial/industrial electrician in 2005, but due to market situations back in 2010, I decided to pivot and go back to school. After obtaining my associates degree I had a very successful career as an electrical technicial working first in field installs/repairs before moving up into product development where I spent the majority of my technician career. I knew I was capable of more, so in 2021 I returned to school for the third time to get my bachelors of engineering. I was able to land my first engineering position with Wigen Water Technologies shortly before finishing my degree and have been there ever since. This long, inderect path to get me where I want to be has given me the benefit of an extremely diverse background and a host of hands-on, real world experiences that you will be hard pressed to find in any other engineer.On a personal level, I focus much time with family, friends, and improving my home with my wife. I thrive in summer spending as much time as I can on the Minnesota lakes and working on the family cabin. There is not much outdoors that I don't enjoy. My favorite past times are probably time on the boat or behind it, skiing of any kind, rock climbing, running, and camping.
