During my substantial work experience I have had to learn and develop the ability to balance my work life with my family life and prioritise my time, I have developed this skill over the years to a high standard which has allowed me to pick up and pursue my initial goal which is to achieve a professional career within the computing industry, the first step being to enrol on the HND course. Whilst undertaking the HND Computing and System Development course at City of Sunderland College I studied a wide range of computing aspects including; programming, networking and more general business-related aspects. Programming has developed my ability to write in a variety of languages including; VB.Net, Java Script, HTML, CSS, PHP and Java. I have successfully created programmes which include the use sequence, selection and iteration using different types of syntax.Throughout the HND course I have gained a good insight into computing which has improved my confidence in planning, writing, programming, design and communication skills related to computing. Over the duration of my course I gained a better understanding of the industry which has helped provide me with a better idea of which career path I would like to go down.The HND course was a 2 year course which I completed in June 2018 successfully with an overall Distinction.Following on from my HND I moved on to the University of Sunderland and completed my BSc (Hons) Computer Systems Engineering and graduated in July 2020 with a 1st class honours degree.As I am a family man hobbies are mostly family orientated, these range from going out for the day with my wife and daughter and just spending some quality time with them and making great memories. I also like to go to the cinema and eating out at restaurants trying different types of foods from all over the world.
