After a 12-year professional football career, playing for Notts County, Lincoln City, Maidstone United, Scarborough, and finally Woodlands Wellington (Singapore), I retired and sought work outside of football. That is when I started working in sales at Veolia, in the waste management industry. At Veolia, I sold waste management solutions to businesses in and around Nottingham.After gaining a few years of experience in the industry, I started working at Capital Equipment, where I sold compactors, balers, and shredders for various market-leading companies. From there, I transitioned into selling turnkey waste and recycling sorting systems solutions to various clients.Over the past 20 years, I have acquired experience in co-mingled, municipal solid waste (MSW), waste-to-energy, various types of plastics (film, bottle, dense plastics) recycling, construction and industrial (C&I), and RDF and SRF streams.
