I am responsible for the safe delivery of the project to budget and schedule. Key areas I work in are contract management, financial forecasting and reporting, program and scheduling, manage subcontractors , health safety and environment, design management, ensuring quality compliance, resource management, Client engagement, chairing meetings and monthly progress meetings and reporting.Previously worked as Project Engineer in the gas industry I have worked on capital projects such as transmission pipelines, high pressure mains renewals, new service connections and city gate constructions. I had responsibility for overall health and safety compliance, ensuring projects are on schedule and to budget. As part of my role I prepared monthly reports and presented these projects to senior management. I also supported the Project Engineers in the monthly client review meetings.One of my key areas of expertise is with transmission projects. My experience to date has been with the preparation and submission of Construction Safety Management Plans with supporting documentation to regulatory authorities. Health and safety compliance is of significant importance to me and from this I have worked closely with HSEQ Officers in the development of SWMS’s and Risk Assessments. Ensuring compliance to industry standards and codes of practice.I have a strong technical ability in the area of welding and non-destructive testing. I have engineered the development of new welding procedures including in service welding where I gained a good knowledge of AS2885 with experience of AS4041 for city gate construction and piping fabrication.
