About Darren Eletr

With an innate interest in how information is presented, I started out in journalism. It was about challenging injustice and the desire to see events portrayed accurately, especially those concerning the ‘underdog’, like Muslims and various minorities in the UK, and around the world.My work helped shine a light on under reported communities and the issues they face.After relocating from the UK to the UAE in 2012, I moved into healthcare, embracing the challenge of communication and medical education within the UAE and wider Gulf region.My work helped tackle diabetes in the UAE. From education about lifestyle - to organizing major medical conferences – I helped to impart valuable knowledge to the UAE public and medical professionals alike.It was wonderful to witness a gradual, positive change in knowledge and attitudes towards managing diabetes and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.I'm just getting started on my next challenge in real estate. I’d like to think my previous postings reflect my values of honest and transparency as I look to help people find their dream home or great investment opportunities.
