My work history is below and is a chapter in my life that I loved and was successful at, however I decided it wasn’t enough.I retired early to focus on my own health and well-being and spend more time with family and supporting others. I am now a UK Athletics endurance running coach. Currently getting involved in projects that raise awareness of health and well-being and saving the environment. I started writing Odes in 2019In 2020 I was part of the UK marketing campaign for What3Words and I am working with the WOLO foundation as an ambassador. In 2022 I helped co found The Green Runners. My wife and I are currently working on a Health and Wellness Project to collaborate with other groups that want to make a difference to peoples lives and their environment. My wife Jane is a Solution Focussed Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist.PreviouslyExperienced HR Manager and General Store Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the retail industry. Skilled in People Development especially focussed on diversity and doing the right thing for the individual. I organised and rolled out Behavioural change courses such Gung Ho, Whale Done, Fish, Who Moved My Cheese and I completed the Walton Institute Training programme. Opened numerous retail sites as HR Manager and Store Manager with multi million annual turnover. Strong sales professional who values engagement and flexible working combined with new technologies as the future of retail.
