Role: Design Engineer - Third Party • Responsible for management and design of multiple sewerage schemes delivering solutions for new developments, managing relationship and coordinating construction works with several companies to meet both Yorkshire Water and the developers needs.Role: Design Engineer - Investigation Team• Responsible for delivering Yorkshire Water's DG5 outputs, investigating internal flooding and identifying and costing affordable solutions.Role: Design Engineer - Delivery Team• Responsible for delivering multiple schemes too tight deadlines and budgets, including internal flooding (DG5), sewer rehabilitation, and emergency schemes.

Part of a design team delivering innovative solutions for Yorkshire Water's AMP4 Environmental Business Unit Framework. Closely working with other disciplines I manage projects ranging from Wastewater Treatment, Flooding Schemes through to Combined Sewer Overflows.I also have the key roles of maintaining and improving the Environmental and Quality Managment Systems.

Role: Environmental Engineer / Lead Designer (Yorkshire Water / Severn Trent)• Responsible for management and design of multiple DG5 schemes, Combined Sewer Overflow (CSOs), sewage pumping stations and sewage treatment throughout the life of the schemes.• Developed innovative designs whilst providing cost benefits to the client.• Responsible for the supervision of a multidisciplinary design team.• Provide guidance on environmental issues including ecology, archaeology, carbon footprint, planning and sustainability within the Yorkshire Water Joint Delivery Team.• Responsible for compliance and auditing to the Environmental Management System (ISO14001).• Represented Costain Mouchel at the YWS Environmental Forum and for both internal and external audits.• Environmental Advisor to both Costain and Mouchel and liaising with both companies corporate environmental teams.• Responsible for compliance and auditing to the Quality Management System (ISO9001 compliance) for both Costain (site and office) and Mouchel.Role: Severn Trent AMP5 (feasibility contract)• Developed a carbon footprint tool to analyse options for solution development. • Organising HAZOPs and preparing HAZOP reports.• Represented Costain Mouchel at the YWS Environmental Forum and for both internal and external audits.• Environmental Advisor to both Costain and Mouchel and liaising with both companies corporate environmental teams.• Responsible for compliance and auditing to the Quality Management System (ISO9001 compliance) for both Costain (site and office) and Mouchel.Role: Severn Trent AMP5 (feasibility contract)• Developed a carbon footprint tool to analyse options for solution development. • Organising HAZOPs and preparing HAZOP reports.

Part of a design team delivering the £65 million AMP3 framework contract for Yorkshire Water Services Limited. The work involved site investigation, solution development and design for several DG5, Area Flooding and CSO schemes. Key activities include sewer and sewerage treatment design, environmental consultations, hydraulic modelling and negotiations with third parties.

Seconded to Yorkshire Water to provide risk review's for their Business Risk Model

Working within a small team as the National Data Standards Officer for the Environment Agency my work primarily addressed the adoption of data standards to enable easier and more efficient exchange and processing of environmental data between departments and organisations.

Working within the National Transfrontier Shipments of Waste Information Team providing support to the Notification Team. The role required data collection, retrieval, archiving and collation of both internal and external TFS/RAS data and information, for operational use and to meet statutory reporting requirements.

Supervisor in charge of coordinating two depots based in Doncaster and Purfleet in the delivery of courtesy cars.

General operation and maintenance of the secure database and internal customer service on the IT help desk.
