Work with other operators, supervision, and management to ensure the Surfactants unit runs in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Conduct various product transfers through different reactors, mixing tanks, and storage vessels. Catch raw material, in-process, and finished product samples and ensure they’re properly labeled and turned in to the Surfactants lab for testing. Operate the Foxboro DCS batching system through continuous monitoring during a 12 hour shift. Responsible for making sure all product recipes are followed per batch sheet protocols. Make adjustments when necessary to ensure mix tanks, reactors, filter strippers, and flash strippers operate within system parameters and remain in-sync to ensure seamless operations. Maintain good housekeeping throughout the unit to ensure all products and processes are in accordance with FDA and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) regulations that are in place. Work with site-maintenance and outside contractors to instill a safety-first work culture by writing safe work permits. Use mobile equipment (trucks, forklifts, scissor lifts, man lifts, hand trucks, etc.) throughout daily work tasks and conduct safety checks before and after use. Make routine reading-rounds to make sure all process equipment, product transfers, pressure readings, temperature readings, and storage vessels are secure and within their stated operating parameters.

Responsible for all Refreshment Solutions accounts located the Gulf Coast Region, spanning from Jackson, Louisiana to Biloxi, Mississippi. Responded to any customer complaints or inquiries and attended to any mechanical issues or product quality issues. Worked with route drivers to maintain various full-line vending routes consisting of snack, drink, and cold food machines. Responsible for upkeep of company vehicle, maintaining excellent customer satisfaction, and providing timely and efficient service to all clients. Required to have daily communication with management on the status of work order completion rate and come up with solutions on how to handle new work orders as soon as possible.
