Starting with a team of two, I had to spec and develop the system starting with one Supervisory control. Rapidly over the course of 2013 the team size increased to what today is a global team of approximately 80 people. The system functionality covers affirmation and reporting of key FO Supervisory controls such as Out of Hours Trading, Cancel & Amend reporting, Off Premeis, Late Trades and Brokerage reporting, with many others being added.On a daily basis,the system has to process all RBS transactions, determining controls triggered for subsequent reporting and affirmation by FO supervisors. As well as managing the development I am heavily involved with requirements, specification, solution design and architecture.

Development Manager, Abs & Credit Solutions TechnologyRbs Global Banking & Markets Jan 2009 - Mar 2012Working for the Head of European Asset Backed Trading, I managed a London and India based team responsible for development of RBS's first Asset Backed Pricing and Risk System. The system was designed by myself. Application was developed in C#.Net with a SQL Server backend using Data-Synapse Grid technology.The application was a repository for all European ABS/CMBs/CDO/CLO deals providing the desk with the ability to price and run risk for these asset classes. In addition the application ran overnight batches to run various risk scenarios. The application was integrated with Intex which allowed pricing scenarios to be run and various risk calculations produced based upon CPR/Loss and Interest Rate scenarios. Cashflow scenarios were run on a batch basis overnight on a Data Synapse compute grid.The application enabled the business to report portfolio risk for the first time thus increasing trading limits and desk profitability.
