My last position was Corporate Lead detailer and project management for Amico Grating Division. My duties included but not limited to * Handled large and high profile projects. Example project, Oil Sands in northern Canada, over 100,000 square feet of grating, was primary detailer and project manager. A few years latter a related project was done for the same customer and the customer had high praise for my work on the original project thus awarding the second project.* Designed non-standard project and come up with solutions for the customer. Example The Crimson Condos in Miami, this was several vertical screens on the multiple sides of the project. Final images can be seen on Google Street View. https://goo.gl/maps/USE2UFidMnM2* Reading standards specification and drawings. * Reading structural, architectural and erection drawings. * Getting information off of customer 3D models, SDS2, Tekla and AutoCAD. * Generating customer and shop drawings. * primary point of contact with the customer. * Worked directly with the sales department, shop, shipping and other locations to make sure the project was done on time and correctly. * Assisted other detailers and project managers via in person, on the phone, and remote access. This included educating new detailers and project managers, and provide knowledge of all product lines to all detailers and project managers at all locations.* Assisted in setting up and implementing custom AutoCAD, Excel and nesting software* Researched and designed custom excel formulas for calculation scrap percentage that removed all errors and increased productivity.* Assisted in setting up and implementing full engineering procedures.* Assisted shop fabrication department, to better communicate between engineering at all locations and local shop personnel, and adjust detailing standards to provide better information to the shop.* CNC nesting for multiple divisions
