Manage the Online Ad Operations team within Incisive, which includes responsibility for all online display advertising across Incisive Media's portfolio of sites.The role includes establishing and managing efficient ad trafficking processes for the company, including inventory reporting, campaign management, optimisation procedures and statistical campaign reporting. Also set out the technical specifications of ad tagging across Incisive sites, to ensure consistancy across the portfolio and simplicity of campaign management.Oversee the transition of new media technology into the trafficking process (e.g. mobile, Apps, video etc). Introduce new ad products into the direct sales channels, such as new ad formats or audience extention/retargeting.Management of network/remnant inventory including yield optimisation and revenue maximisation of unsold inventory.

Responsible for ad trafficking and online ad operations across Incisive's Technology B2B portfolio, including sites such as V3.co.uk, theinquirer.net, computing.co.uk and channelweb.co.ukAlongside working day to day using DFP (Doubleclick for Publishers), I also get involved in non direct sales related commercial activities such as Ad networks, project management on custom programmes, new technology implementation (e.g. contextual advertising technology (Grapeshot), mobile ad serving (Doubleclick Mobile), Doubleclick Ad Exchange (Buy and Sell side), Boomerang for Publishers and video ad serving (Doubleclick Instream/Videoplaza). Also a very important part of the role, is ensuring predicted inventory will match demand from sales, and in cases where there is likely to be a shortfall discussing ways with publishing team to potentially help boost traffic or increase inventory. If this is not possible, alternative ways in which we can retain that revenue, for example new ad formats.

Initially responsible for UK agencies looking to advertise into VNU's European portfolio, the role changed following the sales of VNU's portfolio in Europe to encompass worldwide clients looking to advertise in the UK (working directly with International clients/agencies) and Incisive's worldwide network of sales agents.

Managed an in-house telesales team of 6, to produce an annual publlication for key decision makers in city planning. The role involved working closely with in-house researchers and editorial, local authority advisors and group publisher to produce an original and profitable publication to a tight deadline with limited resources.
