As an Electrical Design Engineer, Darren is responsible for all aspects of electrical systems design for a wide range of projects, from preparing electrical drawing packages that support building code specification, participate in staff meeting to oversee planning methods and perform design computations using his engineering skills. He has experience in conferring with engineers and design staff to interpret design concepts and reviewing all applicable documentation and company procedural manuals to determine critical attributes of design. Also experienced with low and medium voltage distribution, lighting controls systems, fire alarm systems and standby generator systems. He is also experienced in Revit and AutoCAD content and family development for job specific needs. He has worked on projects including Manufacturing, Healthcare and Residential. His project involvement ranges from performing lighting calculation using Visual and breaker coordination studies using SKM to coordinating and designing full electrical drawings for review by professional engineer.
