Working with London Underground and Crossrail for the investigation of complex system issues across the integrated train of the on-board signalling system. Specifically involved with the resolution of an integration between the on-board signalling and on-board train systems that has resulted in service interactions that require an integrated review of all the systems logs to fully understand and rectify the service issues.

Engineering input to develop and implement the asset management processes, including the implementation support for any new equipment at Coney Island and 207 Street Maintenance Depots, as part of the Subway Action Plan improvements.Support Depot teams with the implementation of any new Asset Management systems that may be required.

Reliability Engineer working on Bombardier Crossrail Cl345'sUtilise failure data and results and undertake engineering investigations of rail vehicles, associated equipment and components focusing on the design, maintenance and training with the aim of delivering improved fleet safety, reliability and performance.

Undertaking complex systems investigations for attribution purposes and increasing MDBF.Raising and management of relevant system change requests onto Train Reliability Improvement Plan to provide feedback to fleet team on investigations and associated mentoring and improvements to fleet competence scheme and training arrangements. Analysis of central logs to assure correct root cause of fleet team investigations. Development, implementation & monitoring of predictive maintenance. (predict & prevent), using diagnostics such as RTD’s, snooper logs, EVA 2, Data Dumps, VCC Logs & SMC Replayer.

Duty’s Including Daily Meetings & technical support for the warranty team technicians within the Product Introduction Team and liaise with the project engineering team to ensure the smooth delivery and integration of the rolling stock for the Victoria line and SSL upgrade. Monitoring failure trends across the fleet and taking action upon these in conjunction with suppliers and design engineers to increase reliability and meet predetermined targets. Using Diagnostic test equipment (reading train software & interrogation using ORBITA, EVA 2, DCU-TERM, etc.) Leading, coaching and mentoring Technicians to support the further introduction of new trains on the Met, H&C, District and Circle lines of The London Underground.

Duty’s including pre-modification health check’s, Post modification testing involving, continuity tests, insulation resistance testing, powered static testing of all train systems. In-depth fault finding and investigation with schematic drawing and computer diagnostics and testing, also working with the engineering with problems with test specifications.
