I set up ISGtax in 2007 to provide first class VAT, Import and Excise Duty advice. Almost ten years on, and I work with clients worldwide across many industries, including petrochemicals, transport and logistics, supply chain, computer and electronics, medical, confectionery, call centres and financial services sectors. I act in the capacity of VAT Manager for three multinationals. My work involves providing VAT advice, preparing and filing VAT and statutory declarations throughout the EU and beyond. Additionally I have prepared and delivered individually tailored indirect tax training courses to employees at all levels within many organisations. I have experience of SAP, Oracle and bespoke accounting packages having worked on many implementation projects. VAT legislation within the EU can be complex, and my knowledge and practical application of this knowledge is complete and up to date. Having a keen eye for detail has led to some large VAT recoveries for my clients and previous employers.Although I have ongoing commitments to existing clients, I do currently have some spare capacity to consider new roles and opportunities.Prior experience2004-2007 – Innospec Inc - Indirect Tax Manager.
