Managed a consultancy and interim management business, providing expert solutions and leadership to a variety of blue chip and medium size operations.Achievements:• As interim head of Supply Chain for a global security products and services company, with direct spend budget of £25m, delivered supply chain cost reduction projects to the tune of annualised £1.7m• As a consultant, redesigned QC labs for a global pharmaceutical, reducing leadtimes by 25% and new facility investment by 30%

Delivered several `client projects, working as a member of the BPC associate network.Achievements:• Re-engineered and implemented a £110m biotech manufacturing facility start up, saving over £0.5m in contractor overrun costs and enabling additional revenues running into tens of $millions.• Led a cross functional DSM team to introduce operational changes increasing turnover by $35m through product yield improvements.• Facilitated the successful design and implementation of an annualised hours scheme across 400 employees

Europe’s largest designer, manufacturer and distributor of hot tubs and commercial spas. Delivered a successful VC backed turnaround of this £12m manufacturing business, from a £1.6m loss to break even and sell on.

Developed accounts, managed programmes and delivered projects to clients in the pharmaceutical, aerospace and high tech sectors.Achievements:• Implemented the first pilot of a blue chip aerospace company’s production system, reducing turbine blade manufacturing lead time from 27 to 5 days• Designed & delivered a Manufacturing Excellence site programme for a global agrichemical client, delivering a 15% (£80m) increase in output (revenues)• Redesigned processes and implemented a new pensions management system for a major UK employer with 350k members; leading to a 50% increase in capacity.
