The Branch Technology Specialist is responsible for the management of a suite of applications/infrastructure that are underpinning technology enablers for a Business Unit within Elders.Ensure that solutions meet the business needs and is fit for purpose. Maintained, working closely with internal IT teams and external vendors.Maintaining Product roadmap’s and Continuous Improvement is applied to drive value and deliver benefit to the business. A trusted partner of the Business Unit and advocate strongly for the Products.

Responsible for all the IT systems required to support the Boardriders Retail business in Australia and New Zealand. Includes both Point Of Sale and back office systems, as well as all integrations relating to Retail systems. Ownership of the technical environment, acting as the key IT liaison with the Retail business and responsible for both day-to-day operational system support required to keep Retail stores trading, as well as scoping, planning and implementation of system enhancements and associated end-user training. Manage a small team of retail support/ system analysts and to assist the IT Helpdesk Operators in daily Operations which includes the execution of technical/hands-on support and development tasks.

Reporting to the IT Manager and supporting the National Business with all software queries.

Ensure the streamlined operation of the AUNZSG IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. To plan, document, coordinate, direct, and design IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department.To work closely with decision makers in other AUNZSG departments/businesses to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organisation, define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices in line with Widex Global IT.Responsible for the administration of tasks or tools, on an ongoing basis, that support the retail operation of the organisation including sales reporting, OHS administration, retail database administration, retail property/rental management including repairs and maintenance and capital works (new, improvements & make good) to the retail network.Lead the implementation of business best practices, new processes, centralization and or strategies for Retail Operations including Clinical procedures, rosters (capacity &utilization) and appointment book in conjunction with other department managers of AUNZSG.

Reporting to the CFO, my role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. Reporting to the CFO, I was responsible to identify and deliver profitable outcomes for the business through ensuring stable and functioning computer systems and by providing timely and complete support to all customers. This includes maintaining current systems, growing with new technologies and controlling the support function and being involved in the planning of IT needs of the business and to ensure that the business has a reliable and scalable IT platform within Support Office and Stores to fully support the business needs now and allowing for future growth and expansion. To proactively manage IT team, system enhancements and projects and to provide timely information and support to all team members to enhance individuals and business performance.

Reporting to the CFO, I was responsible for directing, controlling and administering the IT activities throughout the Group. Work with the business to determine business initiatives, and establish priorities, to ensure the effective delivery of key projects.Manage, directly or through project managers, business and IT solution delivery from internal or 3rd Party.Approve systems design, ensuring successful support for business requirements, and end to end processes, as well as adherence to architectural standards.Develop architectural strategies, principles and plans.Responsibilities included management of business system developments, business case and budget development, marketing proposals, business requirements gathering and resources.

Reporting to the Operations Director this position was responsible for the startup, implementation, development and management of the IT solution for the Australian business.
