Oversee and manage 20-member Legal, Internal Audit, Compliance and Privacy, and Information Security Departments, with a focus on implementing best practices, fostering an environment of continuous improvement, and enhancing integration within the risk-based disciplines. Regularly advise C-suite executives, Board members, and business and operational partners on various legal issues, including corporate, transactional, fraud and abuse (e.g., Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act), litigation, HIPAA/privacy, audit/investigation, Epic Connect, governance, labor/employment, antitrust, risk, foundation/non-profit, and regulatory compliance matters.
