I started my career off in the hospitality sector from an early age and progressed through the ranks in kitchens to being head chef in 2 establishments. My experiences in this industry have been vast and still serve me to this day in my daily business activities.Understanding the constant constraints in commercial kitchens and the pressures the management team have in terms of maintaining a high GP have served me well. I have gained much experience in my near 20 years in this industry. I chose to venture on a new path and went into sales for a services company. I spent close to 16 years in that position and expanded on my skills, learning many new and progressive skills. To date I am still in the services industry although the company has changed. While working in the company I was involved in part in the development of a new product, which allowed us to create Irelands first closed loop dispensing system. This system is the only systems in the marketplace that are secure and cost effective. Incorporating our very own invention (aperture) provides a tamper proof chemical dilution system that guarantees cost per use.On a personal level, I'm an easy enough guy to get on with. I love fishing and shooting, fly-fishing being my most favourite. I train under 14 & 16 Girls GAA in Tubberclaire, team is called Goldsmith Girls. I have a beautiful partner and 3 wonderful kids. I'm a hard worker and one that likes to get things done. I'm keen on gardening and grow a lot of our own food. I'm pretty determined in all I do and can withstand a lot of pressure. Anything else you want to know, just ask :)Previously employed in the soft services sector in senior management position. Services covered contract cleaning and a full range of security services. I managed 2 mobile patrol divisions, 4 static guard divisions and 3 contract cleaning teams in different sectors of industry. Growth of the business was the Primary factor in daily duties, which involved new business development & new route development.I was considered as a consultant to customers, by customers, to discuss their requirements, advising them of new and innovative products to help them in achieving top quality products and services, achieve maximum savings for their business while all the time obtaining the best profit margin for Sanserv. During my long service to Sanserv, I was privy to the creation and design new and innovative products, one such product was a container closure that completely eliminated abuse, misuse and waste of liquids, such as cleaning chemical concentrates. This product, which we launched in Amsterdam in early 2014 to a European market has proven itself to be groundbreaking and a one of a kind product.
