Darren has experience valuing multifamily, industrial, office, retail, restaurants, hotels, and special purpose properties. He has developed a niche in single-tenant industrial, market-rate apartments, and land development properties. His clients often seek him out for their complex properties when they require effective communication of how he arrived at his opinion of market value so they can make informed decisions suited to their motivations.In the past, his clients included attorneys, lending institutions, insurance companies, businesses, developers, property owners, and government entities. He performed valuation work for property tax, collateral evaluation, estate planning/taxation, condemnation, feasibility studies, market rent studies, and marriage/business dissolution purposes. Many of these assignments involved litigation and expert witness testimony. In his current role as a Senior Property Tax Analyst, Darren is helping his clients reduce their property taxes. Darren holds a B.A. from St. John’s University with major in accounting and a minor in chemistry. He has taken numerous courses from the Appraisal Institute and attended many seminars since entering the real estate industry.
