Voyager Space Technologies, Inc is developing a cloud-based, collaborative, systems modeling tool that allows companies to design hardware much faster than current methods. Our platform uses AI to generate iterative trade studies and identify the best-fit components based on the mission the satellite will be performing. At Voyager, my responsibilities & experience include:- Co-Founded the company, building & leading a team of seven people through an angel round of financing, closing enterprise customers, secured an SBIR grant from the US Air Force, and developed a SaaS product while simultaneously navigating a competitive and evolving market landscape. - Developed high-quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives, as well as presented them to all empowered investors and stakeholders. - Oversaw all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission. - Pitched the company’s value proposition for sales meetings, investor relations, and pitch competitions. Extremely comfortable with public speaking in both a board room and to a crowd of thousands of people. -- Reviewed financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements. Well versed in creating NPV, IRR, cash flow, and earnings impact assessments. - Oversaw product development and ensure that they are in-line with customer needs and long-term strategy.

- Designed and built a test stand for the MX-1 RCS thruster's- Concept study for advanced travel across lunar surface- Designed engine-mount for coarse thruster test stand- Designed tooling for rocket engine production

Designed, built, and tested a leak test panel that is responsible for leak testing the Raptor turbopump assembly. Responsible for sizing the fluid components such as the relief valve and orifice.o Determined the best material choice for an acoustic resonance ignitor. Used ANSYS and hand calculations todetermine the thermal characteristics of the different designs.o Used Siemen’s NX to design various ground support equipment for the Raptor development engine.

o Working with NASA’s RPT program to develop a mobile rocket engine test stand that can provide safe and reliable data.o dual cryogenic system, capable of handling up to 3,000 lbf o Organized meetings, deadlines, and overall project management of the team

o Currently leading a team of over 30 engineers to design, fabricate, and test a 6U CubeSat, which is competing in NASA’s Cubequest competition. The CubeSat will be sent into lunar orbit, and must survive there for a year’s time while completing a variety of tasks. Organizing meetings, utilizing project management software, follow up with team mates on deadlines, and make sure we meet competition requirements. Won $30,000 and third place behind MIT and Cornell in the second ground tournament of the competition.o Designing the combustion chamber and injector plate for a 3D printed 1 lb thrust HTP monopropellant rocket engine which will slow the cubesat from a translunar injection into a lunar orbit. o Secured sponsorship for testing equipment, engine printing, and advisorship through Metal Technologies and Space Micro.  Presented the Moonshot Alpha Project to both companies’ CEO’s, and worked directly with them to ensure our success.

o Leading a ten person business team to expand SEDS UCSD’s image through Kickstarters, sponsorship, and proposals -Surpassed a funding goal of $15,000 by raising almost $22,000 through a Kickstarter campaign.o Handling media contacts and maintaining club image via newspaper, social media, magazines, and creating a new website.o Gained sponsorship and advice from multiple industry CEO’s, VP’s, and Program Managers.

o Developed a 20 ft liquid fueled rocket, and set the record for the highest rocket flown with a 3D printed engineo Designed the fully additively manufactured Bagaveev injector plate for the Vulcan-1 LOX/ RP-1 rocket engine. Successfully tested the Vulcan-1 engine to produce 750lbs of thrust.o Helped to establish and maintain the systems engineering, ground control, and leadership of the rocket team.o Worked with a team to design and develop a static fire system (SFS) capable of withstanding 10,000lbs of thrust and acquiring data. Personally designed and fabricated the baseplate of the SFS, by laying out the plumbing, fabricating the valve mounts, and doing all the necessary woodwork (utilizing a band saw, drill press, dremel, etc.)

o Worked on the propulsion system for the MX-1e lander, which is slated to be the first private vehicle to travel to the Moon.o Determined all the line sizing, material choice, valve requirements, and helped modify the P&ID of the propulsion system Utilized excel to create a dynamic system to analyze the pressure drops for multiple line sizes.o Fabricated a brass board to test the flow properties of the propulsion system, and compare to expected results. Bent and flared the pipes, tested all the sensing equipment using LabVIEW, and conducted flow tests.o Worked with the engine development contractor to check all assumptions and design calculations for the main engine.

o Facilitating university outreach at over 30 universities across the USA, through media campaigns.o Responsible for recruiting universities to join SEDS USA through networking with the Space Grant consortiums in the USA.- Attracted 13 universities to join the national organization, including MIT and Harvardo Pursue media contacts, and expand SEDS national media coverageo Worked with Israeli representatives to establish SEDS Israel.

o Using heat transfer theory to analyze the boiler efficiency in the main production areas.- Determined that the site’s boilers were at max capacity, and prepared a recommendation to add redundancy. o Ran a case study on the evaporation rate of solvents during the granulation process of developing tablets.- Concluded that on humid days when temperatures were high, there was a 20% loss in solvent, resulting in poor lab results.o Created a matrix that analyzed the facilities utility usage during different shifts of the day.

o Worked hands on with steel fabrication, 3D printing, wood working, and CNC routers o Ran department head meetings - Defining and holding the department heads accountable to their deadlines - Taught the project and sales managers how to effectively utilize liquid plannero Started off landscaping, but finished the summer working directly with the Chief Operations Officer.
