While working in this position, I was responsible for various duties within the accounting cycle, including daily accounts payable and receivable transactions, preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts and assisting with completing the monthly financial close. Major duties included:-Perform customer invoicing, revenue accounting and recognition-Perform tasks for accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting and payroll-Reconcile bank and credit card statements-Work through the monthly validation of COGS-Payroll preparation and reconciliation-Prepare journal entries and maintain accruals-Assist in period close process and ensure accurate P&L-Assist with preparation of financial statements-Prepare support for all outside requests-Assist with Treasury functions

Duties and Responsibilities -Supporting the sales teams with customer and product knowledge.-Effectively communicating with the sales team to create invoices and estimates for customers -Tracking sales on a bi-weekly basis and paying all 1099 employees appropriate commissions.-Professionally representing the Company at any large event or trade show. -Providing the production team with all new orders and coordinate with them on a feasible completion time and delivery method.-Supporting the Production team by assisting in decision making for production runs, Inventory tracking and general warehouse workflow.-Ensuring proper inventories for print marketing, POP displays, Product supplies, warehouse supplies, raw goods, ect.-Running bi-weekly payroll for all w-2 employees and giving out checks.-Reporting and assessing analytics from QBO and Prosperworks for business development meetings.-Attending and actively participating in all relevant sales and business development meetings.

Acquire and develop new small business accounts for this independently owned sales and marketing firm. Facilitate online supply chain management sourcing. Interview and train other entry level sales team members.

Utilized a fixed income bond analytic tool called BondEdge that models total-return investment grade portfolios that are benchmarked against major Barclay’s Indices. Interfaced with a portfolio management accounting system called Advent and an order entry system called Moxy viewing account level detail and inputting buy and sell orders.
