Oct 2010 - Jan 2011

Senior Project Manager

I was originally recruited to FbF as a mid-weight PM to aid production on a business win of the games publisher Activision. This saw me working on hugely demanding EU-wide, rich media campaigns for titles such as Call of Duty and Guitar Hero.Within 6 months I was promoted to Senior PM leading production for the Activision 2009 season where I focused on implementing and policing a solid production process. This role soon evolved to me over-seeing up to 6 project managers both internally and remote, managing the studio team and building strong relationships with freelancers, and overseeing production of 15+ multiple-territoriy campaigns for clients including Activision and THQ - including the global online campaign for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - the largest entertainment launch of all time.A wide variety of project work has seen me working on everything from multi-territory rich media campaigns, micros-sites, widgets and applications, iPhone apps, Flash games, film shoots and virals. Particularly notable projects include production of a stunning 3D website for GAP's 40th anniversary, digital press releases for the launch of the McLaren MP4-12C supercar, and a Flash based propaganda site exploiting Facebook Connect for the launch of a significant Sony Playstation title. It has also been rewarding breaking offline clients into the world of digital, and opening their eyes to the benefits it has to offer.I have done lots of work with the new business team working on pitches and proposals which I find particularly challenging and rewarding. This has seen working on pitches for exciting clients including T-Mobile, BBC, McLaren, and Sony Playstation. I have also been heavily involved in the 'Innovation Team' pushing relevant initiatives and knowledge across the wider business.

2008 - Oct 2010

Project Manager

London, United Kingdom

Agency Republic gave me the opportunity to cut my teeth in the industry, prove my talent and drive, and progress my career and PM skillset rapidly. Working with some fantastically creative and skilled people, on truly innovative campaigns for global clients, as part of an agency so well respected across global AdLand, was a fantastic experience.I was lucky enough to work on the O2 telecomms account (largest digital account in the UK at the time) producing market-leading campaigns for both brand and acquisition offerings, culminating in me over-seeing production of all acquisition campaigns.Other highlights include working on a spectrum of projects and pitches for clients including Mercedes-Benz, BBC World Service, and Cancer Research UK across many digital disciplines including global rich media campaigns, micro-sites, CMS builds, film shoots, Facebook applications and Advergames. One campaign worthy of particular mention was the O2 Favourite Place Facebook Group - 'The Battle For The UK's Favourite University,' which won Campaign Magazine's 'Digital Campaign of the Year' amongst other coveted accolades. As PM of this project, the challenge was not only overcoming technological challenges working with Facebook as a new and volatile platform, but also managing and moderating the group which grew to 100,000 + members in a matter of weeks.http://www.biginteractiveideas.com/eurobest_o2/o2_favouriteplace.php
