This included website, email and video optimisation and regeneration. One of my main responsibilities included coordinating all email campaigns, from product selection through to concept design, sign off, build and deployment using our email platform. Email campaigns that I have developed include the design and implementation of a welcome program. The main aim of this campaign is to introduce new subscribers to the brand and the proposition offered by Viking River Cruises. I also develop weekly sales promotions and information based emails and working alongside the implementation of CRM to introduce an after booking, follow up email campaign. Another area of my role was to ensure the Viking River Cruises website was updated. This included ensuring documents and information contained within the website are current and not outdated. In order to achieve this I liaise with different teams including Vikingβs customer services and operations department to ensure the same information is being passed on to customers through different points of contact. I also ensured the homepage is optimised and up to date by changing banners to reflect current offers and products. I reported on all areas of email performance, to ensure they were working and fully optimised to achieve goals. This also included making recommendations on amendments to design, reporting on sales and ensuring our acquisition cost is maintained. I also used Google analytics to keep an eye on the website and to make recommendations about optimisation. Liaising with external agencies was also a big part of this role, to ensure online communications adhere to brand guidelines and aid with the coordination of SEO and PPC campaign. -
