Darren creates compelling advertising messages around a client's unique selling position. Often clients are not aware of what is unique about them and helping them discover that is one of the most enjoyable parts of the creative job. Darren then carries that idea through the process of creative concept, writing, producing, and very often voicing a client's commercial, creating a compelling and business-generating message.

Darren most recently appeared as the Ghost and Player King in Pittsburgh Public Theater's production of William Shakespeare's "Hamlet". Other memorable performances at the Public include "Company" (Larry), "1776" (John Dickinson), "ART" (Serge), "Metamorphoses" (Midas), "Comedy of Errors" (Antipholus of Syracuse), "Oedipus the King" (The Chorus), "The Tempest" (Boatswain), and "Broadway" (Mike). Darren's quick study came into play during PPT's production of "The Tempest" when he went on for several performances as Stephano, a character he was not understudying, with just 48 hours to learn and rehearse this crucial comedic role.

Darren is an associate artist with Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre and has performed leading roles in numerous productions including The Shaughraun (Robert), Hamlet (Claudius), Copenhagen (Heisenberg), She Stoops to Conquer (Marlow), Thomas Killroy's Irish adaptation of Chekhov's The Seagull (Aston), The Picture of Dorian Gray (James), The Cripple of Inishman (Babbybobby), and Translations (George).

Darren performed leading roles in Starlight's productions of Macbeth (MacDuff), Desire Under the Elms (Eben), All My Sons (Chris), Grapes of Wrath (Tom Joad), and Death of a Salesman (Biff).

Lead actor in the video game rendition of "Black Dahlia" which went on to receive a 4 out of 4 star review in Entertainment Weekly. Over 8 weeks this 447 page script was shot completely on blue screen and rendered into a digital environment. Loosely weaving the elements of the famous Black Dahlia case, the Cleveland torso killings, and the Nazi's of course, the massive tale played out over 8 sprawling CD's. The cast, led by Eliker as agent Jim Pearson, featured cameo performances by Dennis Hopper and Teri Garr and was shot in Pittsburgh and Los Angeles.Darren's voice has also been featured in other releases by Take Two Interactive.
