Responsible for the manufacture, assembly and testing of bespoke commercial lighting products for leading retailers such as Marks & Spencer, JD Sports and Lush - with additional responsibility for maintaining health and safety standards.

Including the development of effective internal and external Communications and PR to ensure The Aurora Group remains seen as a recognised and trusted provider of education, care and support for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities. To facilitate this, I work closely with other services and departments to develop integrated communication strategies for Aurora schools, colleges and care homes. This work involved the creation and management of internal comms platforms including staff newsletters, the myAurora intranet and Yammer. I was also responsible for press and media relations for each site and social media content generation. Working in a specialist foodservice and hospitality PR agency, my role was to maximise trade press coverage and brand awareness for clients through integrated B2B and B2C campaigns. This included creating, managing and evaluating activity across multiple channels including public relations, social media, plus advertising, websites, eMarketing, literature and trade show support. As the main client contact, I led in developing PR plans, managing junior colleagues and external agencies to achieve campaign objectives within budget and time constraints.
