International WoodFuels owned and operated an industrial pellet plant in Virginia USA. The focus of the development arm (WoodFuels Europe) was to build a portfolio of wood pellet plants in the USA to supply major European utilities. The key activity of the business was to develop a business plan and the associated projects and gain funding to facilitate implementation. The company has recently secured funding for its business and is currently developing its first project in North Carolina.
