The book consisted of over 40,000 lives and at times included circa £20m of annual single premium new business.I was responsible for all aspects of the provision of the Third Party Administration service provided to clients and their annuitants and concluded this role by successfully project managing the outsourcing of the annuity operation.• Team Management of between 4 and 8 members of staff, resourcing levels, team motivation, appraisals, training and development and the setting of objectives.• Responsible for the accurate payments made to annuitants, net of tax in line with agreed deadlines and a high level of customer service was maintained for all written and verbal requests received over the phone.• All process and controls were maintained, service levels met, client MI produced and regulatory changes implemented so ensuring an efficient and effective TPA service.• Maintained good relations with clients and third party service providers.• Responsible for payments to HMRC, RTI reporting and the provision of year end P60 documentation to annuitants.• Supervised and reported the complaints process in line with FCA requirements.• Managed the department systems including our payroll platform (Compendia), making recommendations for development and arranging user testing and sign off.• Responsible for the due diligence, audit and governance processes for our clients plus the annuity departments own third party relationships.• Produced regular existence and mortality checks to ensure payments were made to the correct individuals.
