Founder & President, SoCal Beep Baseball AssociationI lead the SoCal Beep Baseball Association, an organization dedicated to creating athletic opportunities for blind and visually impaired individuals, with a primary focus on Beep Baseball. Our programs serve children, teens, adults, and veterans, providing a supportive community and fostering inclusivity through sports. Beep Baseball is an adapted version of traditional baseball and is played nationally, offering participants a chance to engage in competitive athletics.My mission is to fill the void in the western United States by establishing a robust network of teams across Southern California.Key Responsibilities:Cultivate partnerships with blindness support centers throughout Southern California.Manage volunteer services and coordinate service groups for events.Oversee social media strategy and communications.Recruit blind and visually impaired participants.Negotiate equipment and facility costs.Manage financial records, including securing grants and donations.

As a member of the NBBA Board of Directors, I co-chair the Public Relations Committee, where I lead efforts to enhance the visibility and reach of beep baseball across the nation. My role involves managing league business, web development, coordinating with teams and stakeholders, and fostering strategic relationships to expand our network. Additionally, I am deeply engaged in networking and outreach initiatives throughout California, working to build connections and promote the inclusive spirit of beep baseball.

This program provides comprehensive training on creating accessible environments for people with disabilities, ensuring compliance with ADA standards and promoting inclusive practices. As a participant in this certification program, I gained in-depth knowledge of accessibility principles, legal requirements, and practical solutions for making physical spaces, digital content, and services accessible to all. This training equips me with the expertise to advocate for and implement accessibility improvements across various settings, enhancing inclusivity and ensuring that all individuals can fully participate in everyday activities.

I operated a sole proprietorship focused on e-commerce, conducting all sales through Amazon.com. My responsibilities included sourcing profitable products by building relationships with wholesale companies, maintaining financial records and budgets, and networking with company managers at industry conventions. I also managed Amazon Seller Central, overseeing product listings, advertising campaigns, and customer communications to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
