Providing wellbore surveys both onshore and offshore throughout Europe, Africa, Caspian and North America.Services included, single and multi-shot surveys, Gyro While Drilling (GWD), whipstock orientations / kick-off’s and wellbore mapping of aged wells.Real-time monitoring and processing of downhole data in a high pressure, safety critical role.Close cooperation with directional drilling and MWD teams from major clients such as Weatherford, Halliburton, Baker Hughes and Schlumberger.Regular lone working in remote / isolated areas of countries such as Gabon, Kenya and Kurdistan.Regular experience working as team leader on platforms, jack-ups, semi-submersibles and drill ships.Participated in daily meetings with other department leads and rig management to coordinate operational activities.Provided operational briefings for Gyrodata account managers and detailed survey reports for directional drilling teams and exploration companies.Provided on-the-job training for newly recruited field engineers.On-site building, preparation and testing of downhole tools.Electrical and mechanical fault finding, often in remote locations where communicating with base was not possible. Rigging up and down in cooperation with drilling crews and wireline operators.Engaging with pre and post job briefings and the continual improvement of each service provided.
