Since 2004 I have been working as a Financial Analyst and Advisor for Ameriprise Financial. I am responsible for preparing and analyzing multiple account portfolios, income statements, balance sheets and budgets for clients and corporations. I work on both a team and an individual basis depending on the client's needs. I manage a multimillion-dollar investment portfolio for clients, which includes researching investment opportunities such as individual company stocks and their financials, mutual funds and bonds making recommendations on the investments and communicating with clients to update them on their investments and goals. My client list is diverse and consists of entrepreneurs, wealthy, retired, soon to be retired as well as recent graduates looking to begin setting up their retirement goals. I have an accounting degree and I work with my clients to make their investments as tax friendly as I can. I have very satisfied clients through the last few downturns of the stock market because their investments held up.

From 2003 to 2004 I worked as a Financial Advisor in the field for West Point Financial Services. I efficiently and effectively taught clients and colleagues the importance of Insurance and financial planning. I informed clients how to plan for their goals, how to make and use a budget, income statement and balance sheet for their personal use. I worked on a team approach for assisting clients with insurance needs and an individual basis for their planning and investment goals.

From 2000-2003 I worked as a Financial Consultant with Intrepid Financial LLC. At Intrepid Financial LLC I was responsible for working with the network of CPA’s that provided me new clients. I instructed the CPA’s on the importance of Long Term Care Insurance. I met with clients and educated them on the value of insurance protection. I advised my clients on the value of insurance and investments and guided them to achieving their investment and protection goals.

From 1998-2000 I worked as a Marketing Representative for John Hancock Financial Services and was responsible for marketing John Hancock and myself for Long Term Care Insurance. I learned the value of presentation and oral and written communications with clients. I was in charge of maintaining my client’s needs and desires and teaching them how to protect what was valuable to them. I learned the value of follow up and follow through. I worked in both a team and individual setting while I built my successful book of business. I was responsible for educating new colleagues how to set appointments with new clients, meet with new clients and assist them in getting insurance coverage.
