Responsible for Engineering and launching the Karma Revero and all new Revero GT range-extended EV sedans for the U.S. and Canada luxury markets, including all mechanical, electrical and software enabled features while simultaneously building the start-up company’s engineering capabilities. Built the engineering leadership team and staff, with majority of engineering activities in California (325 engineers) and a new Detroit Technical Center (20 engineers). Advised and presented product development strategies and funding requests to the Board team.

Responsible for start-up company strategic leadership, product development, engineering, operations, & supply chain to re-define ALTe’s plan to commercialize, launch and produce plug-in hybrid and battery electric powertrains for the commercial fleet market in the U.S. & China. Developed business opportunities in China with a new JV for EV bus development. Responsible for finding new investment funding with venture capital and investment bankers. Managed weekly Board of Directors meetings focused on new business strategies for the company, business execution decisions, funds management and fund raising.

Responsible for leading product engineering, product architecture, manufacturing engineering, program management and advanced purchasing functions to create hybrid electric propulsion systems for commercial vehicles. Refined existing Chinese Province JV commercial market product strategy to address EV commercial vehicles. Assisted Board in hiring Adviser for CEO to help refocus the company’s strategy.

Product development consulting projects focused on improving product launches and process improvements. Applied product launch and project management methodologies to help automotive supplier improve launch timing by identifying and addressing plant and process factors driving delays.
