I’ve always been a nerd. That obsessive need to learn and understand stuff. Not just boring stuff but cool stuff, like SEO, Google Ads, marketing automation and web analytics. That stuff is cool, don’t you think? Ah, I do at least.For the last 20 years I’ve been wielding my nerdery at all manner of digital marketing problems in a not too dissimilar way to Thor and his hammer. Present me a problem and I’ll solve it. One way or another. It drives me crazy. But this has turned me into the wisened, multidisciplinary and service-dedicated professional I am today. Rough with the smooth, right?Being multidisciplinary sure has its advantages. It means I’m equally at home with technical challenges as I am with data or communication. This allows me to see much more of the bigger picture, how various activities fit together and where to find synergies.If we’re going to be a kick-ass team then my superpower needs to work with yours.
