Head up the EMEA pre and post sales technical team.I joined LogLogic in 2005 to help launch and then grow the EMEA business. I was recruited for my knowledge within the security arena acquired at NetIQ/PentaSafe, specifically the Log Management market, alongside my management skills.In this role I run the pre and post sales teams across EMEA and am responsible for all aspects of the technology within the territory.I am responsible for LogLogics largest accounts and am involved in RFI/RFP responses, customer meetings/presentations from C-level to technical audiences, architectural scoping/design, proof of concepts and post sales customer satisfaction.Outside of technology I enjoy my role giving key note speeches at seminars, briefing journalists, engaging with PR agencies and evangelising about the technology.LogLogic is an exciting company with terrific technology and I am very proud to be part of the success here.

Headed up the UK and Ireland Sales Engineers team, whilst maintaining the role of NetIQ’s pan-European Security Expert.This role built on my successes as a pre-sales engineer and enabled me to move into a managerial role. Whilst at NetIQ I maintained focus on the security arena consistently exceeding in my pre-sales capacity delivering presentations, demonstrations, technical account management, RFI/RFP responses and was a key member of the sales team in 3 of the largest deals in EMEAs history.My management role was hybrid and enabled me to continue being hands-on whilst managing the team, creating processes to optimise the pre-sales team deliverables, aligning the team to the sales objectives of the company and became the liaison point back into Product Management.

Pure hands on technical pre/post sales role at a highly dymanic and motivated pre-IPO software company. PentaSafe was acquired by NetIQ in 2002. In this role I was hired as a Windows/Unix expert helping to sell PentaSafes security software into large Enterprise accounts.In this role I was responsible for all aspects of a pre-sales engineer and post sales consultant- customer meetings, technical presentations/demonstrations, RFI/RFP response, technical scoping, technical implementations of solutions.PentaSafe was a visionary company with offerings in the compliance space way before the world had been introduced to the likes of Messers Sarbanes and Oxley.........PentaSafe was acquired by NetIQ in 2002

Sequent was acquired by IBM in 1999, which enabled the pre-sales team to spend a lot of money revamping the Wall of Windows to showcase not only the power of the newly acquired Sequent hardware, but also the existing line of IBM servers as well. This was an impressive showcase and I doubt I will ever have another job where I get to play with so many great gadgets again and get paid for it...As the existing Sequent technology merged into the range of IBM technology I moved into the pSeries (unix) division and was a presales consultant looking after IBM's large bluechip customers.

I began my career at Sequent Computer Systems which was a great company to work for.Whilst at Sequent I worked in the famous "Wall of Windows" demonstration centre - those of you that have seen it will remember it, truly ground breaking at the time.Sequent sold high end multiple-processor Unix servers specifically tailored to run OLAP, Databases and other high volume transaction orientated applications. The Wall of Windows was a "simulated office" environment designed to show in realtime the power of Sequent servers running parallel live application transactions and the associated response times on a bank of PC'sThis was an outstanding environment to cut my teeth in the pre-sales world.
