In my role as Director – Business Solutions at Merge Healthcare, I was responsible for consolidating the various business systems from several acquisitions. To improve IT efficiency, I led the Sarbanes-Oxley initiative to document finance and IT department functions, which was valuable to outside audit firms that were reviewing all IT processes.I organized and led the executive committee where I recommended and successfully implemented the following SaaS applications throughout the organization:• Salesforce.com – Replaced several legacy CRM applications used in different divisions for 125 global users of sales & support applications. Also, led technical integration of MS SharePoint with Salesforce.com for archiving customer data. The project was implemented in 12 weeks and was completed 25 percent under budget.• BigMachines – Implemented an order-to-cash quoting process that replaced a detailed Excel template. Project successfully reduced time to process a sales quote from one week to less than one hour.• Concur – Implemented the travel & expense solution to replace a paper-based system with the leading SaaS application, which significantly improved efficiency and accuracy of employee expense reports.
