The team has met or exceeded its goals or targets since I took on this role.The position involves working in a pan European team for which I manage over 50 staff based locally in Sun's UK offices and also based remotely. This has developed my management skills in dealing with local and remote based employees.Some achievements in this role have been:1. Implementation of off shoring transactional activities but creating a local support function. This achieved cost reduction whilst maintaining customer satisfaction.2. Implementation of Web based tool (now adopted globally in Sun) to improve quality of work submissions, thus improving processing time and also reducing cost.3. Introduced a work flow management system in Europe. Allows tracking of work requests and documents. Improved communication between local and remote teams and provides an audit trail.
