Slammers FC is one of the top youth soccer clubs in the nation with over 30 teams from age U-8 to U-18. I worked with multiple teams at the youth club comprised of over 500 players, focusing on individual skills as well as team dynamics and tactics. I also developed different training sessions to meet the needs of each team. In my role as camp coordinator I organized and evaluated coaches and players in multiple youth camps throughout the year.

Assisted in asset management for a $1.2 billion multifamily, office, and industrial real estate portfolio while interfacing with upper-level executives.Conducted cost/benefit analysis to determine optimal insurance program for a $370 million multifamily portfolio, resulting in insurance cost savings from the existing policy of $1.2 million without compromising coverage.Developed pro forma financial models for cash flow, acquisition and disposition analysis.

At the Rochester Rhinos professional soccer team I had multiple responsibilities including mentor to young players, team translator, conduit between players and coaches, volunteer, community service organizer, and on field team leader.As one of five veteran players I helped lead our young team to a regular season USL championship in 2010.

I was an outside midfielder, forward, team translator, and also responsible for organizing visits to MUSC children's hospital and for running the "kick it back" soccer donation program at the club. Helped collect enough used soccer equipment to fill a storage container that we then sent to Kenya.Led the Battery in scoring in the Open Cup tournament where we played DC United in the final in 2008.

At the Minnesota Thunder professional soccer team (now NSC Minnesota Stars) I was a forward and outside midfielder. My duties with the club also involved translating for foreign players and working over 100 hours with the Thunder Youth Soccer Camps as both a coach and camp coordinator.

After effectively networking with German players and coaches I finally obtained a contract with Bremen side Brikumer SV. As a professional in Germany I trained with the club for two or three hours in the morning and did conditioning and strength training in the afternoons. In my role as defender I played the important role of organizing the other players on the field, using my German language skills.

At MLS side Chivas USA I was a rookie "developmental" player and I trained every day with the first team, often twice a day, while weightlifting in the afternoons. During preseason with Chivas I was still finishing my thesis and last semester of classes at Princeton so I flew back and forth between New Jersey and California.
