The NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) is responsible for the management of the NSW Government’s social housing portfolio comprising some 130,000 properties valued at over $45 billion.Over the past 4.5 years at LAHC I have successfully built and lead two teams of property professionals, comprising up to 21 people. Urban Planning - A team of up to 13 urban planners, geographical information specialists and administration staff. Key output included, the identification of sites for the delivery of 65,000 new dwellings under the NSW Governments Future Directions in Social Housing. Relationship management across government and advancement of the need for social housing. Program Development - A team of 8 property and development specialists responsible for the delivery of the yearly sales and redevelopment pipelines for the corporation. Additionally, delivered yearly Business Plans, Total Asset Management Plans and key contributor to government policy and business cases.

Company Snapshot: Sydney Olympic Park Authority is responsible for managing anddeveloping the 640 hectares that comprise Sydney Olympic Park and maintaining it as alasting legacy for the people of New South Wales. By 2030 Sydney Olympic Park will host50,000 visitors a day, provide more then 31,500 jobs and be home to 14,000 residents.My role at Sydney Olympic Park Authority (SOPA) was to deliver the vision provided by Masterplan 2030, to ensure Sydney Olympic Park becomes a vibrant and sustainable town centre.I lead the Planning, Building and Design teams at SOPA, in addition to:The Authorities senior adviser on all planning matters. Provision of planning and design advice to the commercial development team for Request for Development Proposal documentation. Member of the evaluation team for commercial and residential development proposals. Convener, secretariat and panel member of the SOPA Design Review Panel, chaired by the NSW Government Architect.Determination of Development Applications under delegations from the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure. Delivered an average 15 day determination time for 2012/13.Key projects delivered in 2013 include:Conservation Management Plan for the state heritage listed Newington Armory; and Conservation Management Plan local heritage listed Abattoir Administrative Precinct.

Over $17 billion of trade was handled at the Port of Newcastle in 2008/09. NPC is also a major land owner controlling over 520 hectares of portside land. NPC currently has over $300 million of development works in concept and development phases.Responsible for: Planning advice to internal and external customers. Determining Authority on behalf of the Port Corporation for developments under $30mil carried out at the port. Future planning of port land - preparation of the Port Strategic Development Plan - first long term vision for the port of NewcastleDevelopment Guidelines - delivery of guidelines to increase the quality of port development focusing on sustainability and environmental initiatives. Transport planning - strategic level.
