My interests in climate change adaptation span issues such as climate-induced relocation, addressing underlying inequalities and vulnerabilities, eco-system based approaches, the merging of Traditional Knowledges with scientific approaches, and international policy on migration.

Planning the Strategic Board Planning Retreat in October 2023.In the fall of 2023, I devised and planned a strategic planning retreat for the Board of Directors and Advisory Board. The culmination of this planning was the retreat which was held in hybrid format in Ottawa, Ontario. This process included the formulation of SWOT and Stakeholder Analyses, the adaptation of the organization's vision and mission statements, and the establishment of a Strategic Planning Subcommittee. I am currently working with the subcommittee to finalize the strategic planning process and am creating a report that will be presented at the Annual General Meeting.2. Managing the Francophone and Latin American networks.In my role in facilitating the activities of these two global networks, I engage with current members and reach out to new potential members. I plan activities such as webinars, provide communications on research collaborative opportunities, and provide translation services in both French and Spanish. In August 2023, I was pleased to present the results of my own thesis research into climate adaptation in Spanish to our Latin American network.3. 2024 McGill Summer Institutes Course PlanningI am currently the coordinator the two courses being offered by PEGASUS Institute at the McGill Summer Institutes in the spring of 2024. This role includes the creation of the course agenda, engaging with former and new instructors, communication and promotion of the courses, and reviewing scholarship applications. -
