I am an applied scientist and engineer with a background and experience in applied physics, aerospace engineering and robotics. I have a particular interest in test engineering, data analysis, simulation development, applied physics and mathematics. I have an advanced background in numerical methods, Rigid Body Dynamics, Fluid Dynamics and Fluid-Surface Interaction coupling. Throughout my academic career, I have amassed five scholarships and many hours of teaching experience of advanced topics. Furthermore, I am a highly proficient user of MATLAB & Simulink, Python, LaTex, Microsoft Office, and have experience in team and project management. I have decent hands-on skills and the ability to learn new skills and overcome challenges at an impressive pace. I have been described as a natural leader and an excellent presenter. I am both a Portuguese and South African citizen, with a native comprehension of English and a casual command of Portuguese and German. I live a healthy and active lifestyle and take great care to look after myself physically, mentally and spiritually. I am outgoing and ambitious with many interests and passions. I have every intention to make a difference in the world.
