Current Highlights: At the onset of my recruitment to this position, I coordinated the Presidential Transition Team, its meetings, and the subsequent successful delivery of a comprehensive set of recommendations to the President. I have overseen a major Marketing and Rebranding campaign. I have served as the primary liaison with external vendors and oversaw an over 1.5 million dollars budget relative to projects for Institutional Advancement. I played a key role in a record-breaking season of the fundraising with over 9 million dollars of funds raised since joining the institution. I developed a comprehensive plan to launch the University’s first Advancement Services model in its 135-year history. Additionally, I have served as the primary point of contact for all university initiatives that directly involve or require support from the IA unit (Advancement Services). I have overseen total budget activity of over 6 million dollars for various IA initiatives. During my tenure, I have consummately served as the number two and senior advisor to the VP of IA. My responsibilities include oversight of Development of mechanicals (print, digital graphics) that effectively and consistently utilizes the University’s verbal and visual expressions/identity and help to accurately depict the University’s personality, brand voice and tone, name(s), tag lines, promise, core message, and brand story. Marketing: manages or provides direction for campaigns from research and strategy to implementation and strategically placing the right message in the right place at the right time in order to convert an audience into supporters/customers. Development: manages or provides direction for donor stewardship, donor relations, data, and reporting; developing strategies for multiple annual giving campaigns; overseeing the management and acquisition of corporate and major gifts. Management provides supervision, leadership, and direction to several positions within IA.
