As a U.S. Air Force Colonel with 23 years of experience leading complex, international organizations with worldwide responsibilities, I have a proven track record of achieving success through effective leadership, strategic planning, and tactical execution. As a Certified Foreign Affairs Officer with U.S. Embassy tours in Turkey, Norway, and Kenya, I had decision authority related to military sales, operations, resource management, personnel support, and community relations.One of my most significant accomplishments was leading a multi-agency team at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo to execute and sustain the $10 billion F-35 acquisition to a key NATO partner. Through direct support and coordination among the U.S. Embassy, DoD Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Lockheed Martin, and the Norwegian Ministry of Defense, we ensured the success of this critical acquisition.Furthermore, I guided an international team of officers in the evaluation of the operational readiness of NATO rapid response forces in southern Europe. I performed quarterly evaluations of International Air Force bases to include testing of the rapid launch and intercept of hostile aircraft execution.
