General responsibilities are to interpret documented business requirements into functioning software programs. Advise and assist Business Analysts with system analysis to ensure all customer requirements can be achieved through automation. Utilize various languages to write back-end automation for internal and external customer as well as Web interfaces to interact with back-end software.. Heavy utilization of regular expressions to parse customer order forms in multiple file formats, such as, MS Word, Excel, PDF, XML, HTML and plain text files. Output data to various file formats and databases, such as, Oracle and MySQL. Modify existing software to conform to new customer requirements. Respond to 24/7 production software issues and make modifications as necessary. Write software wrappers to interface with third party programs used in manufacturing processes.
