Perform Production Control responsibilities including maintaining all production jobstreams and libraries and providing technical support to Applications Programming, Data Control, Computer Operations and other internal customers. Analysts are the first point of contact for batch processing trouble shooting, problems and concerns. Maintains all batch program documentation, job libraries, data sets, and catalogs. Prepares and provides instructions and schedules to Computer Operations for all Production, Integration, Qual and special request jobs. During project implementations, provides JCL support in the creation and update of batch processing jobs and follows through on all first runs of the applications software. Must provide accurate and timely resolutions to minimize processing issues and downtimes of normal batch processing runs

Duties entailed to provide support to users and execution teams running batch jobs and reports. Monitor batch process by using CA Autosys and Putty, using Unix commands to view status of batch process, Open up an Meet Me Line to inform execution teams and developer of any failed Jobs, Open a Remedy and Clearquest Tickets for failed jobs, Contact the execution team when process can resume. Send out hourly email updates for failed jobs

Duties entail preparation and support all CGI-AMS Central Financial System that consist of all cycles; Daily, Monthly, Quarterly and Year End Close Cycles, and setup the cycles in the IBM mainframe Environment using CA-7. Responsible for pulling in the correct JCL and control cards to ensure accurate and timely processing of all batch production jobs. Also Monitor jobs in Autosys. Contact appropriate personal to resolved Autosys issues. Provide On call 24 hour production assistance for nightly batch processing; Correction of any failed jobs and continuation of batch processing in a timely manner; Provide timely Escalation of abend jobs to the next level of expertise when appropriate; Update and or modify production JCL/Procs as needed; Train new and other employees.

My other responsibilities consisted of maintaining an IBM 3090 processor and overseeing the production batch schedule utilizing CA-7 for in house departments, frequently interacted with clients in multiple locations to troubleshoot problems, reset id's, and assist with access to key production files online. Performed daily server backups supporting the AMS user community: and performed weekly IPL, recycled PU via Netview, monitor WAN/LAN network servers in case of outages and interacted with appropriate personnel to resolve problems.

Responsible for monitoring a 3270 terminal for media peripheral tape mounts responding to system mount requests within a timely manner.
