In 2001 I was presented with the opportunity to join First Place Bank (FPB), a local bank out of Youngstown, Ohio. At FPB I was responsible for opening and managing the first loan production office located in Solon, Ohio (Solon LPO). While managing the LPO staff and process, I was also focused on my personal mortgage lending clients. Within the first year of operations the new LPO was generating more residential mortgage volume than the rest of the bank. With the quick success of the Solon LPO, in 2003 FPB opened a full service financial center in Solon which included a retail banking center and commercial lending division. My responsibilities included co-managing the new financial center as well as focusing on my mortgage lending clients, and managing the LPO.Promoted to Vice President 2002 and Senior Vice President 2004In January 2013 First Place Bank was acquired by Talmer Bank and Trust out of Michigan.
