Security Officer
Current*Arm/Disarm Alarm system*Make routine parking lot checks, direct traffic, control parking, investigate minor collisions, issue warnings and/or notice for parking violations.*Patrol on foot all areas of the property to establish security presence and ensure safety of patients, staff, providers and visitors. Examine doors windows and gates to determine status, verifies vacancy of rooms and/or contents. Questions unauthorized and/or suspicious and request identification if necessary.*Sign in/out and issue badges to contractors and vendors.*Log in all lost and found items to be put in safe.*Escort staff and visitors after hours to their vehicles at their request if needed.*Maintain daily log of all shift activities.*Monitor Security cameras as needed.*Complete reports of instances up to and including injury, damage or theft with appropriate documentation (Photos, witness statements, ect.) and coordinates intervention by appropriate law enforcement personal, fire and/or emergency medical response as appropriate.*Check all public areas and restrooms for vandalism, safety issues(broken pull cord ect.) and submit Occurrence Report for any findings.
