I am an educator with over three years of experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults. With a background in Bilingualism and a CELTA qualification, I specialize in teaching English and hold certifications in child protection, safeguarding, and strategies for making thinking visible in the classroom.Currently, I work as a Homeroom, Science, and Unit of Inquiry Teacher within the PYP framework, as well as an online tutor for English learners. I have also worked with special needs children, providing emotional support and the necessary tools to help them regulate their emotions and fully engage in school activities.I have implemented active learning strategies in the classroom, making my lessons learner-centered while providing clear guidance. My teaching approach promotes open-mindedness, encouraging students to embrace diverse perspectives and think critically. I design inquiry-based classes, integrating technology to foster engagement and deeper learning. My experience includes working with children from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, designing UDL (Universal Design for Learning) and PIAR (Personalized Instruction and Academic Remediation) programs when needed, and collaborating closely with families and school staff to ensure student success.
