Watershed Coordinator
Responsible for working with Florida local government officials and other stakeholders to identify and implement strategic economic and environmental projects that lead to sustainable communities by stabilizing and diversifying their economic base and improving and protecting the long term health of their watersheds. In this role I am working with the Florida TNC team, federal, state and local governments, other NGOs and community leaders and citizens to implement watershed-based planning and create Estuary Programs based on the EPA National Estuary Program (NEP) model in Florida watersheds not currently covered under an NEP or National Estuarine Research Reserve. Northwest District Assistant Director
Responsible for providing management assistance to the District Director. My duties include ensuring that routine operations in the district are performed successfully including permitting, enforcement and public relations. One of my key roles is to interface with the media, legislators, local government officials and the public to relay information regarding Department activities and resolve their issues and concerns. Between September 2008 and November 2010, I also performed the duties of the District’s Administration Program Manager. Duties associated with this work included supervision of the Administration program staff, serving as the District’s Budget Coordinator and managing the District’s personnel actions.

Responsibilities included both Technical Assistance and Business Development. I provided technical expertise to management personnel responsible for administering contracts supporting both the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS).
