Head of Finance & HR for 4 companies and placed business plans in force to allow the acquisition of our new club on Wimpole Street. Raised in excess of £2m to allow the deal to make it.

Responsibilities.• Assisting in advising the Group CEO with regard to commercial decisions and day-to-day company management;• Overseeing management accounts/quarter end processes for UK, Singapore and USA entities;• Cash flow management and Group Board pack preparation;• Forecast analysis and annual budget review;• Pricing of projects and analysis of burn rate in line with client projects;• Balance sheet reconciliations/Intercompany;• Year end audit for the UK, Singapore and Australia businesses;

Key Achievements.• Worked closely with CEO and Chairman to pull the business back from almost receivership. This was the most difficult trading year the business experience and for me personally, the most challenging. On top of all the above challenges during this time, day to day financial activities also had to be complete and an office had to still operate.• Carried out an external audit as per the requirements from the company’s main client. E & Y were the auditors and placed a very tight procedure in place to investigate the business. This was managed by myself which involved pulling together evidential materials, management accounts over 3 years and cash/P&L forecasting for the future planning of the company.• Acted as the go-to person whilst the business dealt without having a Finance Director which was for 9 months.• Managed the implementation of a new managing reporting system. Carried out transition from Quick-books into Hansa World This project covered the UK business and also USA and Singapore entities.• Carried out audit for the company’s Australian entity whilst been there on the ground. Also, managed a recruitment drive for the finance team in Sydney.• Worked with CEO and COO with pricing and some of the contractual aspects of a JV with new potential client.• Opportunity to assist with the set-up of the US entity. Traveled to Denver for the completion of treasury services, payroll, company secretarial and office move.• Joined the leadership team.
