Growing up, much of my childhood co-curicular activities involved partaking in competetive swimming. This meant an uncountable number of hours in training for various meets over the course of a year. One regret I have was not asking the question "how can I do better during the next one", instead continuing with the same regime expecting better results. Which some might say is Insane. Today I revel in asking the question can this be done better challenging exisiting norms and finding opportunities for improvement. Sometimes these ideas do not work, what is important is taking lessons from these failed "experiments" and carrying them with me into the next. At AZQORE i have been fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to lead projects with exactly this in mind. One project started with wondering how we can optimise a review process and therefore allow those involved myself included to be more flexible with thier lunch timings. Which then evolved and has since been credited with improving productivity and a main driver for reducing the cost per release by 60% in 10 months. Outside of work I can found obsessing over optimizing equipment builds for various role-playing games on PC, what gives me the best output for a given play style, spending hours looking for drops that marginally improve efficiency. I am also a sucker for fantasy & mythological "Lore", in a way my motivation is to hopefully leave a lasting impact on company "Lore".
